DESIGN BRIEF
Our brief for designing and curated furniture pieces was based on the grand scale of spaces and layout meant that the furniture needed to give a sense of intimacy as well as functionally. The furniture was to compliment the architecture with scale and form rather than intricate detail that would detract from the existing detail.
DESIGN OUTCOME
This heritage home balances contemporary furniture curation and design with classic architecture. Dramatic colour and form providing accents to the neutral palette. Scale, form and detailing draws the eye to the architectural detail while bold accents are drawn from artwork, architectural lighting. Organic shapes with subtle variation of neutral tones gives a balance of masculine and feminine elements and tones.
