DESIGN BRIEF

We nicknamed this project 'Milan on the Farm', Interior architecture in collaboration with CATT Architects. This stunning rural property and sophisticated client had a European taste in her vision for the interior design for her home. European fixtures and finishes and attention to detail for every aspect of this vas and inspiring home. With articulated exterior and interior rammed earth walls, interior inspiration came straight out of Italian design influences.

DESIGN OUTCOME

Often when you see inspiring exterior architecture, the interiors disappoint. Not at this project. Clever use of european inspired finishes and fixtures with Italian furnishings gave a sculptured luxury and soft tones to contrast the strong masculine rammed earth walls. Custom finishes featured folded hand-finished brass, European lighting and a black glass faced kitchen. Natural warm oak timber flooring and walls teamed with soft window furnishings gave a sense of calm.
